FROM THE BUSTLING STREETS OF NEW YORK, TO THE SERENE MOUNTAINTOPS OF THE ANDES…

…. there is a song for every moment. Whether it’s that classic middle-school dance song, the one that makes you think of your first date, or that unexpected grocery store banger you couldn’t get out of your head, music attaches itself to our memories like superglue.

As a songwriter, I aim to harness this magnetic force into songs that reach over oceans, through cities, and across continents to create a better world. Whether it sparks a movement, or merely measures a moment, every song has its place. I aim to capture it all.  

My songwriting is everything you wish you could’ve told your younger self about life, love and happiness. Starting with catchy melodies, I blend pop sensibilities with honest lyricism. I don’t believe music should be taken too seriously either, so touches of sarcasm and humor might sneak their way in too.

I draw a lot of inspiration from the people around me. I love the unique opportunity of songwriting to step into the shoes of someone else and explore alternate realities. Working with artists who wish to turn their experiences and emotions into songs, I have a flexible voice that allows for a broad range of collaborators. 

I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and began writing songs for my baby brother when I was seven years old. From singing loudly in public to showing off our half-choreographed dance numbers, my siblings and I lived in a constant fantasy-musical-extravaganza land. I am always trying to reconnect myself to the freedom and creativity of my childhood.
